The West as a failed Civilization

The West came out from the Greek civilization of the Intermediate Region, as a moon detached from the Earth, in the 15th century AD and by developing the ideology of liberalism as the basis of capitalism, it went astray, deformed Greek teachings, expanded as a cancer all over the planet in the form of Westnernization and finally as a failed civilization it is right now finishing up human life on Earth.

In the French Revolution of 1789, the Western bourgeois class took power in the name of rationalism, killing all spiritual life, transforming the human being into a money producer. Karl Marx improved the mechanical materialistic rationalism of Diderot with the dialectical method brought back from the Greeks by Hegel but, basically Marx, in the time of European colonialism remained a Westerner and hated Russia, as the embodiment of a backward East.

At the same time with the rise of Liberalism, in the French revolution, rose the two other ideologies of modern times, Fascism, whose theoretician was Jean-Jacques Rousseau and which briefly was applied by his follower Robespierre in 1793-1794, and Communism through the revolutionary Gracchus Babeuf in the form of Babouvism, in 1796. From the start, Liberalism tried to exterminate both Fascism and Communism by dividing them, exploiting their inner contradictions.

After the end of the First World War triumphant Liberalism humiliated defeated semi-feudal Germany, while Bolshevik Russia was excluded from the European club.

This was the beginning of the idea, coming from traditionalist Germans that later joined Hitler’s national-socialism to ally themselves with Bolshevik Russia against the West. The term “national” referred to the German side while the term “bolshevik” referred to the Russian side. So from the beginning, national-bolshevism was related to international relations and was an attempt to put together pre-capitalist values of a feudal society with post-capitalist values of Bolshevism, or what Karl Marx had called feudal socialism married with scientific socialism.

The most striking example of application of national-bolshevism in International Relations came on August 23, 1939, when Stalin, seeing that the West was trying to attack the Soviet Union by pushing Hitler to attack Moscow, seeing also that his attempt to sign an anti-German military alliance with France and Britain was not welcomed by the West, decided to sign with Germany a non-aggression pact. The appended secret protocol and a second secret protocol of September 1939, allowed the USSR to recuperate Russian land in Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Romania and Poland that the Western imperialists had detached from Moscow at the end of the First World War. The efforts of the Western imperialists to separate national-socialism from bolshevism, in order to destroy both in favor of Liberalism, had failed.

Unfortunately Hitler was a sick man. Contrary to Mussolini, he had classic western prejudices that he had taken from the British, mainly racism. He hated the Jews and downgraded the Slavs and considered the Anglosaxons part of the master race, along with the Germanic people. So Fascism had been applied in Germany by a sick man who betrayed his ally, the USSR, and unilaterally broke the pact, by attacking the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941.

This attack marked the triumph of Western capitalism. The Western Liberals had succeeded in dividing their enemies and in 1945, Fascism was defeated with the help of Communism, while in 1989, Communism itself was defeated. Liberalism then stood triumphant on the dead bodies of Fascism and Communism and proclaimed the end of History!

The contribution of the Third World in the success of national-bolshevism

Already Lenin, in the first years of the Bolshevik revolution had decided to ally communism with nationalism, i. e. with the struggle of the underdeveloped colonized people of Asia in their fight for national liberation from the West. That is why, after the end of the second world war, Fascism that was defeated in Europe, became the main ideology in the Third World, with leaders like Nasser, Kaddafi, the leaders of the Baath Party in Syria and Iraq, many leaders in Africa like Nyerere of Tanzanya, Peron in Argentina and today Chavez in Venezuela.

This Third World fascism which sometimes called itself wrongly communism like in Ethiopia of Mengistu Haile Mariam or even Mao Ze dong in China, had the great advantage over Western Fascism not to be racist and also often not to cultivate systematic anticommunism. The Soviet Union, knowing very well that a highly sophisticated social system like communism could not be accomplished in underdeveloped countries like Ethiopia, pretended to accept their claims of being communists and kept close ties with them against Western imperialism.

Third World Fascism was not attacked by the West at the time of the Soviet Union, believing that Neutralism, could also play in the hands of the West, but as soon as the USSR collapsed, the Western imperialists started the liquidation of these regimes, replacing them with Muslim fundamentalist ones definitely anticommunist, in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya.

So, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Fascism was repatriated in Europe from the Third World, but this time with a new consciousness of allying itself with communist movements, in order not to see the repetition of the liberal tactics of divide and rule.

The rise of national-bolshevism after 1999

The start of the proletarian war by the West, with the attack of NATO on Yugoslavia on March 24, 1999 and the successive barbarous attacks on Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya, saw in Europe the rise of national-bolshevism, i. e. of a fascism not only using the methods of communism but also ideologically sharing many common ideas with it. Most important fascism stopped to be violently anticommunist, trying genuinely to arrive at a synthesis between national-socialism and communism. Since 2000, the rise of Putin in Russia has made this country the center of the ideological effort to achieve the national-bolshevik synthesis and an Institute of National-Bolshevik Studies in Moscow is considered by many indispensable.

The phenomenon became apparent in Russia, already during the siege of Leningrad, in 1941-1944, when many believe that Stalin, like Constantine the Great in the 4th century, was suddenly struck by divine presence and became a Christian believer. Constantine, like Stalin, probably never became formally a Christian but his successors became officially Christian. In that sense Putin is a Christian leader, following Stalin’s conversion, in the same way that Constantine’s conversion was followed by Christian Byzantine Emperors. Present day Russia has kept many attributes of the Soviet Union of Stalin’s period. It is not anticommunist and the image it gives to the world is a model of a national-bolshevik State.

The fact that the Communist Party of the Soviet Union continued to promote atheism even after the re-establishment of the Moscow Patriarchate, in September 1943, does not mean much, as the same happened in the time of Constantine the Great, when a period of transition from paganism to Christianity took place. So one can consider Stalin, the Constantine the Great of present national-bolshevik Russia.

The age of nation-states is over. In the West capitalism preaches globalism. In the Intermediate Region already in the time of the Soviet Union, the idea of an Ecumencial Empire, i. e. Universal Empire reminded us of the Byzantine Empire. Today, in the wake of Stalin, Putin’s national-bolshevik Russia gives even more the image of an Ecumenical Empire in the making.

In present-day Russia some common values are recognized:

1. The value of monarchy with the re-establishment of the tsarist concept. The Byzantine model of government is inconceivable without a monarch and the rehabilitation of Nicolas II of Russia, along with all his family, was in the right direction.

2. The value of traditional religion (and not like in Nazi Germany pagan mysticism) with the the coming back of Christian Orthodoxy.

3. The value of a common civilization with the coming back of Soviet patriotism.

4. The socialist value, with the coming back of state economic centralism, which allows the functioning of a market economy but under the close supervision of the State.

5. The eradication of anticommunism. Communists and National-Socialists are different branches with common roots.

In addition, the condemnation of the concept of democracy should be clearly voiced. For Socrates, Plato and the ancient Greek philosophers democracy was a Greek institution but in their opinion, it was also the worst possible system of government. A better word to express people’s power is laocracy, laos in Greek meaning the people, while the demos means only those that in ancient Greece had civil rights, who were demotes, i.e. a very small minority (slaves, women and non citizen residents, the metoikoi, being excluded). Modern democracy is the oligarchy of the capitalist class, it is in fact bourgeois dictatorship.

The reasons of the rise of national-bolshevism and fears of its betrayal

Marxism-leninism basically was opposed to tradition and was turning itself with enthusiasm to the future. In this way it preached modernism in the same way than liberalism. But man has a memory and cannot be cut off from his past. He cannot as the song of the Communist International says, wipe out from the table of History all what was accumulated. Fascism, on the contrary has the mystic of the Fallen Paradise. Both are necessary: rationalism and romanticism. National-Bolshevism establishes the link between the pre-bourgeois society and post-bourgeois society. Its great enemy is capitalism and the West, as the symbol of capitalism.

Two events that are overwhelmingly present in the West boost fascism once more: the very low natality rates and the very high immigration rates. If one adds on the top of that the traditional ills of capitalism like the periodical capitalist economic crises, the cynicism of Western foreign policy of aggression and war, like the ones we have experienced since 1999, for instance the lynching of colonel Kaddafi, then we can be sure that fascism is once again spreading all over Europe and the capitalists try once again to use fascism in order to divide the people’s anticapitalist movement. It is our responsibility in these very crucial moments, not to allow anticommunism to be used again by capitalism through the mouth of the fascists, in order to divide and rule. It is our responsibility to isolate the opportunists who pretend to be fascists or communists but who still collaborate in capitalist governments and in military capitalist alliances.

Except Russia, China also is experiencing the synthesis of communism and fascism since the time of Mao Ze dong, up to the present moment. During this planetarian war where the principle rivals are the USA and China, Russia should help the Intermediate Region to unite and try to expel from the region both powers, the USA and China, but not by filling the void. The void must be filled by its inhabitants, by a Greek-Turkish Confederation based on national-bolshevik values. Russia belongs to the Intermediate Region while China does not.

The greatest danger for national-bolshevism is anticommunism. Like racism, it is a terrible disease that has destroyed the over powerful Hitler. You cannot have a synthesis, and national-bolshevism is precisely a synthesis, if the two parts of this synthesis do not accept one another and do not try to make concessions in order to efficiently destroy the greatest enemy of humanity, capitalism.
